We have compiled a list of procedures for those applying through Direct Entry and a few things you should know as a DE Applicant.

PROCEDURES FOR FUNAAB DE CANDIDATES:
1. Apply for Jamb D.E form when it comes out.

Gaining admission into FUNAAB through Direct Entry is easy for those that know what they are doing. Before you think of Direct Entry

• be sure you have finished ND programme and have your statement of result at least.
• be sure the course you studied is offered or has an equivalent in FUNAAB
• be sure you finished with at least UPPER CREDIT i.e minimum of 3.50 on a 5.00 scale, or 3.00 o n a 4.00 scale.
• Also remember that FUNAAB is interested in your O level grades too. That is, a minimum of c6 in Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry and Biology if you're a science student. Though d7 in physics is acceptable for agric courses. If you're a commercial student, a minimum of c6 in Mathematics, English Language, Economics and ANY TWO OF Commerce, Government, Financial Accounting or Geography is required.
• be sure your Transcript will be ready by July

If all these pre-requisites have been met, you can proceed to obtain JAMB DE form. After completing the form online, submit the print-out and your Statement of Result to the nearest JAMB office. Then wait for FUNAAB post UTME form and start working on your Transcript. If you have it already, forward it to FUNAAB Registrar's office via a courier, or bring it to the Senate and Admissions Office here

2. Obtain FUNAAB post UTME form when it’s out

3. Submission of Academic Transcript.

If your previous school will be the one to send your transcript, ask them to forward it to the registrar via this address.

NOTE

• FUNAAB doesn't accept second choice
• FUNAAB doesn't accept LOWER CREDIT
• FUNAAB only consider Direct Entry applications from recognized schools only. If your previous school is a federal or state school, you don't need to worry. But not all private polytechnics are recognized.

Make sure this is done as soon as possible because the earlier the better. And Direct Entry Admission is on a first come first serve basis.
